I was asked to contribute an illustration to Memories; a beautiful book containing artwork from 144 artists that represent the stories of 12 individuals whose lives have been touched by cancer. The illusration I created is made from a single continuous line. It was inspired from the story I was given which combined the elements of a long journey, sheer determination and the love of words held by the storyteller's mother.
